Begin your iced coffee adventure by sitting at a table and absorbing the atmosphere of Trung Nyugen, a buzzing chain of coffee shops in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon).
Then sit with your iced tea (of confusing herbal taste) and pick your coffee by number from off the menu. I recommend the “Number 3, iced with condensed milk”. The lower your number, the stronger the coffee.
Your server will come to the table, and set down a little silver pot in front of you.
If you stare at it with great confusion, your server will come back and explain it needs to sit for five minutes, before you pour it over ice.
The little bit of condensed milk is already in the bottom of the coffee cup, remove the silver steeping pot and give it a good stir.
Then pour your strong coffee over the ice, making sure to inhale all the roasted/malty/chocolatey smells.
Get all of it in there:
And savour. You will absolutely get your buzz on.
